Focus and Scope

Jurnal Agroteknologi Merdeka Pasuruan (JAMP) is a scientific journal that publishes research results and reviews the field of agrotechnology. The fields of agricultural science include agronomy and horticulture, crop production, plant biotechnology, plant microbiology, plant breeding, soil science, geographic information systems (GIS), crop protection, post-harvest handling, and soilless cultivation/hydroponics system. Editors accept articles that have never been published in other scientific media in a format according to the template and writing instructions. The article review process is carried out by experienced editors and reviewers according to their field of knowledge.

Authorship Criteria

Authors listed in an article must be individuals who have made a substantive contribution to the conduct of the research and the preparation of the manuscript. All authors are responsible for the accuracy of the article's content and have approved the final version of the manuscript for publication. Authors' names must be written in full, without abbreviations, and accompanied by their institutional affiliation and a valid email address. The corresponding author is responsible for communicating with the editor throughout the submission, review, and publication process. Requirements regarding author identification must adhere to the writing guidelines established by Jurnal Agroteknologi Merdeka Pasuruan (JAMP).

Allegation of Research Misconduct

In the event of a suspected breach of research ethics, the editor will conduct an investigation in accordance with COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines. Authors may be asked to provide clarification or supporting data. If a breach is confirmed, the journal may reject the manuscript, publish a correction, retract the article, and/or report the case to the relevant institution.

Jurnal Agroteknologi Merdeka Pasuruan is a journal in the field of agricultural technology published twice a year: June and December.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Jurnal Agroteknologi Merdeka Pasuruan (JAMP) welcomes constructive discussion and scholarly comments regarding articles that have been published. Readers who identify potential errors, scientific concerns, ethical issues, or wish to provide academic feedback on a published article may contact the Editorial Office through the journal's official email.

The editorial team will evaluate all communications objectively and may consult the authors, reviewers, or other experts when necessary. When a discussion raises significant scientific or ethical concerns, the journal may publish a correction, clarification, expression of concern, or retraction in accordance with the journal's publication ethics policy and COPE guidelines.

Jurnal Agroteknologi Merdeka Pasuruan (JAMP) is committed to maintaining the integrity of the scholarly record. Corrections may be issued when minor errors are identified that do not invalidate the findings or conclusions of the published article.

Retraction may be considered in cases of proven research misconduct, including but not limited to plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, duplicate publication, unethical research practices, or major errors that invalidate the results and conclusions of the article.

Retraction decisions are made by the Editor-in-Chief in consultation with the Editorial Board and, when necessary, the authors' affiliated institutions. A retraction notice will be published and linked to the original article to ensure transparency and maintain the integrity of the scientific record. In situations where an investigation is ongoing and conclusive evidence is not yet available, the journal may publish an Expression of Concern until a final decision is reached.

Author Fees

Starting from June 2026 (Volume 10 No. 1, 2026), Jurnal Agroteknologi Merdeka Pasuruan will apply an Article Processing Charge (APC). The APC price is IDR 185.000 for all accepted papers and will be freely available to all readers with worldwide visibility and coverage.
