Conflict of Interest
Jurnal Agroteknologi Merdeka Pasuruan (JAMP) is dedicated to ensuring transparency, fairness, and integrity throughout every stage of publication. Authors, editors, and reviewers are required to disclose any real or possible conflicts of interest that might influence, or seem to influence, their work or decisions.
Authors must report any financial, professional, institutional, personal, or other relationships that could affect how their community service activities are planned, carried out, reported, or interpreted. This includes ties to partner institutions, sponsors, funding bodies, or other parties involved in the activities. Any potential conflict of interest must be declared in the manuscript when it is submitted. If no conflict exists, authors should state: “The authors declare no conflict of interest.”
Editors must disclose any conflicts of interest that could affect their editorial judgments. They should not handle manuscripts involving personal, professional, institutional, collaborative, or financial relationships that could undermine their impartiality. In such cases, the manuscript must be reassigned to another editor so that the editorial process remains fair and objective.
Reviewers must disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest that could affect their ability to evaluate a manuscript fairly and objectively. Such conflicts include personal relationships, professional collaborations, institutional affiliations, financial interests, or other connections with the authors or organizations involved in the community service activities. Reviewers whose impartiality may be compromised should decline the review or notify the editor so that appropriate steps can be taken.
JAMP reserves the right to take suitable action if a conflict of interest is discovered during or after publication. All parties are expected to act honestly and transparently in order to preserve the journal’s quality and credibility.
